Ligonberries and Chia Yonanasfixed

Make banana Yonanas recipe, next add lingonberries and then add Chia seeds. Top it with plain Greek plain yogurt.  Lastly, swirl all together.

I found that lingonberries come in jelly form or a sauce form (found at World Market or health food stores).  Both the berries and the chia seeds are high in antioxidants.  But, because I find the berries very sweet, I like the added tartness of the Greek Yogurt.  The seeds give it a slight crunch.  But, besides being a good protein source, chia seeds also are good for your metabolism.  They fill you up because they swell with moisture.  As an example given by Dr. Oz, 1 oz of chia seeds mixed with 3/4 cup of Pomegranate juice and let it sit for 45 minutes, turns it into a pudding.  – Norda
