Bean Brownies and Bananas Yonanas Recipe

Bean Brownie Ingredients:  1 1/2  cups whole wheat flour, 1tsp. salt, 1 tsp. baking powder, 2 cups raw sugar, 1 1/4 cup cocoa, 1-15oz. can of dark red kidney beans, 1 tsp. vanilla and 1 cup of water

Making Brownies:  Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Mix together the flour with the salt and baking powder.   Combine all the dry ingredients. Drain the can of beans, add 1 cup water and puree completely.  Add the puree to the dry mix along with the vanilla and extra cup of water.  Stir to combine. Pour the batter into a greased 9×13 pan.  Bake for 25-30 minutes, rotating the pan around halfway through.  They are done when a tooth pick pulls out clean, the edges will be harder than the center.  Recipe makes 24 brownies and they around 120 calories each.

Mixing with Yonanas:  Insert 1/2 frozen banana into yonanas maker.  Add 1 brownie and then the other half of banana.  Stir in bowl to combine.
